CarpetSmart is an established Carpet Cleaning and services company based in Bangkok, and we are currently seeking a full time Operative/Driver for its commercial Carpet maintenance business.

You will be required to carry out Specialist Carpet Cleaning and Maintenance in 4 and 5 star hotels and beach resorts across Thailand.

You will need to be flexible, organized and hard-working. Full uniform and protective clothing will be provided.

Applicants will need to be 25 or older and you will need to hold a full driver’s license. Due to the nature of the role, you must be of smart appearance and professional in your approach to work, also be prepared to be incredibly flexible with the hours that you work.

Job Description

We are looking for a Trainee carpet cleaning technician to join our team or anyone who wants to learn a new trade. No experience is necessary as full training is provided along with ongoing training and support.

This role comes with a lot of variety with sometimes abnormal working hours, this is predominantly professional specialist carpet cleaning, leather and upholstery cleaning and restoration, and specialist hard floor polishing, grouting, cleaning and some silicone work.

As the successful Trainee Carpet Technician, you will play a critical role within the team. You will ensure that the machinery you use and equipment is cleaned according to the Safe System of Work. In addition to your normal cleaning duties, a Carpet Technician is also responsible for their particular role within the team, each member has a specific role to play but together is how we achieve our results ensuring that quality is maintained throughout our process.

Duties:

To correctly follow our standard operating Procedures.
To be responsible for the cleaning of all equipment and ensure it's safe to use and in good working order.
You must be resolute in ensuring all company individuals follow our ‘Good Working Practice’ which are our standards for health and hygiene.
To ensure that our high levels are consistently maintained and continuously monitor the quality of work produced.
Keeping the company vehicle clean at all times, including weekly Tyre checks etc. for safe driving.
Using cleaning chemicals to correct dilution ratios and concentrations and listen to instruction well

We offer Full and on-going training plus you will be responsible for our company vehicle.

This is a customer-facing role and you will be required to drive our team to the customer's property before carrying out your role.

Specialist Carpet Interim/Deep Cleaning
Carpeted and hard floor Cleaning
Various other services of Cleaning

Main Criteria Required:

Must hold a Full Thai Driving Licence, be experienced in manual transmission and be over 25 years of age
Must be committed to hard work
Must be able to work as a Team Player
Must be flexible and able to work Monday to Saturday (Sundays may also be required with a day off in the week)
Must be punctual - a good timekeeper
Positive Attitude is crucial - we require Do-ers!
Must be a Self Motivated person
Must posses the highest communication skills (Spoken English is preferred but not essential)
Must be committed to high levels of excellence and Quality conscious
